My first blog: or WTF were they thinking?
Ok, so now it begins.
It's no big secret that i'm a technocrat, addicted the latest, greatest gadgets i can get my hands on. But i've been really reluctant about blogging. Maybe it's because it seemed like some weird ass method of playing doctor-patient and letting the whole world peek into someone's pychosis. Or maybe it was because it didn't have a "cool" factor...like say text messaging or UFC matches. Fuck, it could have been because blogging sounds too much like bludgeoning, AND BLUDGEONING IS BAD KIDS!
After careful consideration, i determined why i hadn't jumped on the bandwagon...i'm fucking lazy.
Well that's all changed. I've embraced the power of the blog, the ability to share my thoughts on any and everything, taking a size-11 step into the digital quagmire and hoping i can make a big enough splash to change some opinion on the world at large (yeah right, but what did you expect from my first entry).
Things you can expect in my blog
A child of the 80's, i grew up on pop culture, the cold wars and materialism. So, i don't want to disappoint my upbringing by not talking about the things that are relevant to us mid-generation, baby-booming gen xers ...music, gossip, current events, movies, politics and of course sports. I'll also discuss literature, photography, design, web programming, African-American issues and journalism.
Oh yeah, i'm a amateur digital photographer so expect samples of my work. Your comments and suggestions are welcomed.
